Kim Min Kyung Taekwondo Academy (KTA) is built on the belief that martial arts can transform lives through respect, discipline, and confidence. Located in Centreville, Virginia, we welcome students of all ages and skill levels into a supportive, family-friendly environment where every student can thrive.

Our academy was founded by Master Minkyung Kim, whose passion for Taekwondo began in childhood. The positive impact that martial arts had on her own life inspired a lifelong dream: to open her own school and pass on those same skills, knowledge, and inspiration to the next generation. That dream became KTA—a place where students grow into happier, healthier, and more confident individuals.

Our philosophy at KTA is simple yet powerful: "Respect, discipline, and confidence through martial arts." Through structured training and dedicated practice, every student—from our youngest Tiny Tigers to adults—develops not only Taekwondo skills, but also the character and values that lead to success in all areas of life.

Today, KTA proudly serves Centreville and the surrounding Northern Virginia communities including Fairfax, Vienna, Oakton, Chantilly, Merrifield, Manassas, Burke, and Springfield.
